For setting the record straight.
For telling Americans that NAFTA’s broke
And Canadians, “It’s GREAT!”
Although the surge has failed;
The situation on the ground has improved.
We’ll leave Iraq in sixteen months
To assure Bush policies made us lose.
Drill all you want where there is no oil
But don’t think Arctic or off shore.
And by the way if you find anything
We’ll tax your windfall to feed the poor.
He’s travelled through 57 states
Does that include Alaska and Hawaii?
What is his faith-based initative?
Vote for him, hope and see.
He was all for public financing
Of his campaign ‘til he found
By rufusing he’d have more money
In the fall to spread around.
“Why can’t I just finish my waffle?”
We heard the candidate whine.
That’s what we keep asking ourselves
Time, after time, after time.
